We’re delighted to present a double-bundle: Two superb trailers for composers and sound designers to experiment with for practice and portfolio development! TEARS OF STEEL is a live-action/CGI short film which chronicles a meeting between two people, recreated from the past, in an attempt to stop the present robot apocalypse. The full 12-minute film is also available from our library, un-scored.
COSMOS LAUNDROMAT is a dramatic and beautiful animation, following unlikely protagonist Franck the sheep, and his fateful encounter with the mysterious Victor. The full 12-minute film is also available from our library, un-scored.
The trailers come with various bonus assets, detailed below. These two wonderful trailers are provided, un-scored, for sound designers and media composers to use for practice, education coursework and to build a portfolio. Each trailer is approximately 1 minute long.

Re-score one or both of these, upload to YouTube with the hashtag #cuetubetrailers, and you’ll be able to get found by anyone interested in these re-scores, and you can use the same hashtag to listen to other composers’ interpretations, which is very educational and informative. We will conduct a livestreamed review of re-scores on our YouTube channel by two film experts from Leeds Conservatoire on January 5th 2025, which you will be able to review retrospectively for some fantastic insights. Everyone who submits will receive feedback either in the livestream or via email. SUBMIT YOUR ENTRIES HERE. PLEASE DO SO BY 10AM (GMT) ON FRIDAY 3RD JANUARY, although entries will be accepted until the livestream, for our prizedraw. These live reviews are a regular feature on our YouTube channel and provide a great insight into developing your skills. We also gave away a superb sample library from Fracture Sounds!
