Description
NOSFERATU is our shorter edit of the 1922 silent German Expressionist horror film, directed by F.W. Murnau, of the same name. The film follows Thomas Hutter, who travels to Transylvania to finalize a real estate deal with Count Orlok, only to discover Orlok is a vampire. Orlok moves to Wisborg, Hutter’s hometown, ultimately leading to the untimely death of his wife, Ellen.Dark, atmospheric, and steeped in eerie visual storytelling, Nosferatu offers composers a canvas rich with tension, suspense, and gothic horror. The film is provided silent for you to let loose and show off your musical storytelling chops, just as composer Hans Erdmann did over 100 years ago.
